Somebody Tell Them

Here are some convicting (and yet very motivating) lyrics from the song Somebody Tell Them by City Harbor. They are words set to music to move us to share Jesus with others.

Somebody tell them that the lost are saved – Somebody tell them that their debt’s been paid

Somebody tell them they’re a child of the King – And there’s an end to the suffering.

No one can do everything in the church; however, everyone can do one thing: share what Jesus has done to save you and bring you into a loving relationship with the Father in heaven. It may not be a “professional salvation sales pitch” (much better if it isn’t) but it should be real thoughts straight from your heart. We do not deserve to be saved; however, because God loves us beyond comprehension, He sent His Son to pay the price for our sins so we could be saved now and forever.

By the way, some other lyrics in the song are:

Too many times we’ve all held back  – the truth from those put in our path

so let us be the voice of love to them.

Read Matthew 9:35-38 and listen to Somebody Tell Them by City Harbor.

Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.

Seeing the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He *said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
