Trivial Pursuit

If you seek to fulfill your wants and desires in this life and neglect to seek the will of God, what have you accomplished when you die?

If most of your time is consumed with school or a job to get ahead in this life, and you have little time and energy left to actively pursue a stronger relationship with God, what do you have when you leave this life?

If sports, recreation, entertainment and pleasure fill you life’s agenda, and you give God a back seat to His interests, what will happen when you die?
If you allow anything (money, possessions, entertainment, pride, self, family, yea, even your own life) to come first in your life, and God is somewhere down your priority list, where will you spend eternity?

The devil is a great player of Trivial Pursuit, and he wants you to play with him. Don’t do it!! It’s a trap. If you play with him, you’ll win at Trivial Pursuit, but you’ll lose your soul in eternity. There is nothing in this life that is worth losing your soul over in the next life.

Jesus says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled” (Matthew 5:6).

Jesus says, “But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness…” (Matthew 6:33).

Jesus says, “What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?” (Matthew 16:26).
