The Walnut Hill family is dedicated to helping people. Jesus has called each of us to look out for the needs of one another. Through Christian love, we set aside a portion of the blessings that God has richly provided to help those with special needs.
The importance for each child to feel loved and valued cannot be over-stated, and our hearts go out to those children that do not have this in their lives. It’s because of 
this that our family provides monthly support for Christ’s Haven Children’s Home (Keller, Texas) and Cherokee Children’s Home (Cherokee, Texas). Each of these organizations provides a warm, loving, Christian environment in which children in need of basic care can grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually. With these ingredients, these children can grow to become anything that they can dream.
In addition to the monthly support, members of our church family continue to show their love by helping with clothing drives as well as providing toys at Christmas time.
Christian Works for Children is another organization that receives monthly support from Walnut Hill. This Christian organization helps children and their families meet 
and overcome even the most difficult challenges in their lives. Their top priority is to facilitate building healthy homes and families.
Monthly support is also provided for the Main Street Church of Christ. 
The Main Street family ministers to the residents of inner city Dallas and provides about 150 hot meals a day for the elderly as well as low-income and homeless families.
Each year, our family participates in the “Thanksgiving Food Basket” and “Winter Coats For Children” drives to provide for the basic needs of those less fortunate.
