Parting the Red Sea. Water flowing from the rock. Manna and quail falling from heaven. Walls of Jericho falling down. 185,000 enemy soldiers downed without “firing a shot”. Protection inside the fiery furnace. Shutting the mouths of lions. Water turned into wine. Blind receive sight. Lepers healed. Paralytic walks again. Storms calmed. Bread and fish multiplied. Walks on water. Dead people brought back to life. He Himself rising from the dead on the third day.

And the list goes on and on and on. Then there is the really big one: our souls saved by the blood of the Lamb of God. All of the miracles of God serve the purpose of us acknowledging who He is and then believing in Jesus as Savior and Lord. That’s what God is famous for.

Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.
