Welcome!  We're glad you found our website and encourage you to visit us for worship services and to hear what the Bible has to say to us today. You'll meet friendly people who love the Lord and love others.

Thank You, Lord

How about some nice people like you and me focus on Thanksgiving this week? We will read scriptures and listen to three different A Cappella songs about thanking the Lord for who He is and what He has done for us. And, as a bonus, you get some homework. List three or more things each day this week for which you are thankful. See if it helps you develop a more grateful heart for all that the Lord has done for you.

This first song is simply entitled Thank You, Lord. Thank Jesus for giving His life just for you.

For all that You’ve done, I will thank You – For all the You’re going to do;
For all that You’ve promised – And all that You are – Is all that has carried me through
Jesus I thank You

And I thank You – Thank You Lord – And I thank You – Thank You Lord
Thank You for loving and setting me free – Thank You for giving Your life just for me
How I thank You – Jesus, I thank You – Gracefully thank You – Thank You

Read II Corinthians 5:14-21; 9:15. Then listen to Thank You, Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:14-21

For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 9:15

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
