Heaven

What’s on your mind today pilgrim? Fear of getting Covid-19? How are you going to pay the bills? Will things settle down soon so we can take that trip we planned? How about this one: When’s the last time you focused and meditated and dreamed of going to heaven? Can you see the glory of heaven in your mind’s eye? How about we fixate and concentrate on heaven today? After all, that is God’s goal for us. How beautiful heaven must be! Read Philippians 3:20-4:1 and Revelation 21:1-5. Then listen to a beautiful song that will help us. It is simply entitled: Heaven by Blanca.

Philippians 3:20-4:1

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our lowly condition into conformity with His glorious body, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.

Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, whom I long to see, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.

Revelation 21:1-5

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”

And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”
