Welcome!  We're glad you found our website and encourage you to visit us for worship services and to hear what the Bible has to say to us today. You'll meet friendly people who love the Lord and love others.

Wait until we study Psalm 103 on a Sunday morning in a few weeks!!! You will love it. Do you want some words from God via the pen of David that will change your low estimation of your own forgiveness? Do you want to really cement your biblical position of forgiveness into place? Here is God’s position on it through David: “Bless the Lord, my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, my soul, and do not forget any of His benefits; Who pardons all your guilt, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with favor and compassion…He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our guilty deeds. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our wrongdoings from us” (Psalm 103:1-4,10-12).

Now those are some pretty awesome words, aren’t they? Hopefully you do not feel self-righteous about the salvation of your soul because none of us deserve to be forgiven by God. We cannot justify ourselves. We cannot and should not feel or believe we are saved because of our own goodness; however, we can have confidence in our forgiveness because of God’s goodness, love, mercy and grace.

It doesn’t matter how well things are going physically and financially in this life for those with spiritually-sensitive hearts unless they are right with God. Because we love God and crave to be close to Him, we must know we are forgiven; otherwise the rest of life, no matter how swell it is going, is bad. On the other hand, things in this life might not be so dandy, but if we know we are forgiven of our sins because of Jesus, we have a bright outlook on life and have bounce in our spiritual walk.

Read Luke 10:17-20 and Acts 8:35-39. Then listen to Forgiven by Sanctus Real. After that, either repent and be forgiven or rejoice that you are forgiven.

Luke 10:17-20

Now the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!” And He said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. Behold, I have given you authority to walk on snakes and scorpions, and authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”

Acts 8:35-39

Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him. As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch *said, “Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?” And he ordered that the chariot stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch, and he baptized him. When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing.
