Every Sunday we have visiting guests in our assembly. Some are Christians just visiting on a temporary basis, and some are members of this community but not members of Christ’s church.
Every Sunday you have the opportunity and responsibility to seek out these visitors and make them feel so welcome that they desire to come back and because you demonstrate your love, they will come back.
Every Sunday churches in this community sing, pray, teach, etc. But not every church loves their visitors. We do!
Week in and week out we must make a personal commitment to show love to our visitors. Put yourself in their shoes. Feel the uneasiness? Feel like you’re under glass and everyone is looking, but avoiding you?
Every Sunday you have the potential to save a soul just by being friendly. Just think, someone may become a Christian because you took a few minutes to visit with them and acknowledge their presence.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:2-6
