A great way to start the day is by focusing attention on the loving sacrifice Jesus made for us.  Let Jesus lead the way in showing show us what it means to be completely devoted to living for the will of God.  When we live out the day doing it “our way” we almost always regret it but we learn from experience that there is more joy and peace following in the steps of Jesus one step at a time.  Repent along the way and rejoice along the way as Jesus shows us what it means to live for God today.  Read Romans 12:1-2 and then listen to What It Means by Jeremy Camp.

A Living Sacrifice

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
