Welcome!  We're glad you found our website and encourage you to visit us for worship services and to hear what the Bible has to say to us today. You'll meet friendly people who love the Lord and love others.

Week In and “Weak” Out

Week in and week out many of you attend every worship service and Bible study possible. Your consistency expresses your commitment to the Lord. Additionally, you recognize the need to grow up in your faith and have a great desire to be closer to Christ. Your servant heart also moves you to be here for the spiritual building up of others who need to see your example and experience your encouragement.

Conversely, the spiritually weak do not recognize the importance of seeking spiritual growth. Their erratic and irregular attendance is unhealthy and results in spiritual weakness. My prayer is that those who struggle with attending worship services realize the great need they have and make a renewed commitment to take advantage of the worship services and Bible studies available.

Consider the following passages as you make greater strides to grow closer to Christ:

So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. (Acts 2:41-42)

Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord. (1 Peter 2:1-3)

Let’s resolve to be here week in and week out rather than week in and “weak” out, in order to strengthen our faith.
