For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.” Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (I Cor. 1:18-20)
There have always been skeptics of the historical Jesus and Christ and His divine identity. Additionally, there have always been critics of the trustworthiness and accuracy of the four gospels. The atheists attack Jesus and the Bible. World religions reject Jesus as God in the flesh. There are even liberals disguising themselves as biblical proponents in search of the truth who deceive gullible people. I lump them all together in one place and call that place: Skeptic Tank.
Below is a partial listing of scholars who may provide you with some helpful information for your faith. I encourage you to read their books or go to YouTube and watch/listen to their presentations. Some of them are debates; therefore, you can listen to the opposing views of atheists, agnostics, etc. and reach your own conclusions.

We need a faith that will withstand the onslaught of attacks of the skeptics and critics of God’s Word and His Son, Jesus Christ. We don’t need to turn militant, but we need to be convicted in what we believe.
