Time flies so we need to make the most of every day and take advantage of every open-door opportunity the Lord presents to us. Christians do not want to squander the time the Lord has given them on the earth; rather, we want to make a mark in this world, especially with the people we love most. We want to leave a mark so that future generations will be positively impacted by our efforts to serve Jesus as Lord. Jesus said, “Let your light shine in such a way that men may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
Life goes by so quickly – it happens in a BLINK. One man said, “The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it”. We can be sloppy and slothful with our time and in an instant, decades will have passed us by. Live every day like it may be your last so that you live it to the fullest for the Father. Psalm 103:15-18
As for man, his days are like grass;
Like a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
When the wind has passed over it, it is no more,
And its place no longer knows about it.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting for those who fear Him,
And His justice to the children’s children,
To those who keep His covenant
And remember His precepts, so as to do them.

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. For you are just a vapor that appears for a little while, and then vanishes away.

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
