How about a brand new day today? A total fresh start today, and then tomorrow – another new day. And, every day for the rest of your life you get a brand new day? Every day you can (and should) be renewed. God knows we won’t be flawless but we know we can be faithful. When we live by faith our physical body wears down while our inner man is building up closer to God. We keep growing closer to Christ and become more like Him and then one day – in the twinkling of an eye – THE FINAL RENEWAL.

Ephesians 4:20-24

But you did not learn Christ in this way, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

2 Corinthians 4:16-5:1

Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
