Yesterday morning I was out running at 6:00 as the clouds cleared out and the skies cleared up.   And there it was: the Big Dipper pointing at the North Star.   It was a God moment to see God’s majesty appear as the clouds gave way to His marvelous stars.   The cool thing is that I was listening to Pandora and the very song playing was  Light Up the Sky by The Afters.   The lyrics ask for God to light up the sky so we can know God is with us.   It made me realize that I don’t need God to light up the sky any more than He already has.  In fact, He lights up the sky every day.   People demand signs from God to know whether or not He is real and exists and He shows us every day through His creation.   The world around us (flowers, sun, moon, stars, birds, dogs(especially birddogs, maybe even cats(?) all tell us of the glory of God.   Want God to light up the sky for you to know He exists and is with you?   Look up! Look around! Jesus lights up the sky and the entire world every day for us to make a decision based on the evidence of the created world around us – Read Psalm 19:1-6 and Romans 1:20 and know God is with you.   Then listen to Light Up the Sky by Sanctus Real

In Christ,

Psalm 19

The heavens declare the glory of God;

    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
    no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
    It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
    like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
    and makes its circuit to the other;
    nothing is deprived of its warmth.
