If you were to ask me, “What is something I can do that will really help me grow in my faith in Jesus Christ in 2016?” I would respond, “Make sure you never miss out on the Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Bible classes – they are two of the best hours you can invest in for spiritual growth.”
Sunday morning Bible class really doubles the potential for a great day of worship and it also better prepares one for the worship, service. Plus, if you have children, you owe it to them to get them to Bible class – they deserve to learn more about Jesus. If you compare Bible class to services, the children will always get more from
Bible class. All of us parents must accept the responsibility and stewardship from God to help our children know Jesus and get to heaven in the end.
Wednesday evening Bible classes also have a major attraction. It is a great time to get your spiritual batteries recharged. It is too long and too hard to go from Sunday to Sunday without being with our fellow Christians studying the Word of God. We are bombarded all week from people who live for the flesh – we must get our batteries recharged and our minds refocused. Wednesday Bible study helps.
Consider the Psalmist, “O how I love Thy law! Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and light to my path” (Psalm 119:97, 104-105).
