Tin Roof

Brothers and sisters, buckle your emotional and spiritual seatbelts for this song by Blessing Offor. Tin Roof will bring tears to your eyes and a desire in your heart to go home to be with the Lord in heaven. We get so caught up in this world with work, entertainment, possessions, etc. that we take our eyes off of heaven way too much. This song is a blessing from Blessing Offor.

Paul was ready to go to be with the Lord at all times. He writes, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose. But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better; yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake” (Philippians 1:21-24).

He also stirs up the hearts of the hope-filled Philippians when he writes, “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself” (Philippians 3:20-21).

Read Hebrews 11:13-16. Then listen to Tin Roof by Blessing Offor.

All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen and welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. And indeed if they had been thinking of that country which they left, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.
