We need Jesus in the morning, noon, and nighttime. We need Jesus when we are alone or with others. We need Jesus when we are at home or out and about. We need Jesus at work, play, shopping, traveling, etc. We always need Jesus and should say, “Give me Jesus above everything else this world has to offer”.
The apostle Paul said it this way, “…whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead” (Philippians 3:7-11).
Paul’s faith is so amazing! He was that way because of his relationship with Jesus. Jesus died to pay for Paul’s sins and then Jesus was raised victoriously over the grave and ascended back to heaven from which He came AND He lives forevermore as Lord and Savior. We do not serve a dead, religious leader; rather, we have a beautiful relationship with the eternal, living God. We’re not just into commands; rather, we’re into Christ. I don’t just want to be religious – I want a relationship with my eternal, living God from here to heaven and on into eternity with Him as His child. So like Paul we say, “GIVE ME JESUS”.

Luke 10:38-42
Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. And she had a sister called Mary, who was also seated at the Lord’s feet, and was listening to His word. But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do the serving by myself? Then tell her to help me.” But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things; but only one thing is necessary; for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”
