Thanks! I needed that bigtime! Needed what? I really needed to hear that God loves me and that He forgives me over and over day after day. I need that reassurance from God’s word. I need to read more bible passages that teach about God loving me so much that He forgives me of the stupid sins I commit. I need to read and be convinced and convicted by passages like John 3:1-21; Titus 2:11-3:8; Hebrews 4:14-16 and so many others.
I know that there are some people who call themselves Christians and abuse the grace of God as they live very sloppy spiritual lives. That’s not me. I am very aware and highly sensitive to the holiness and the justice of God. My problem is the scales tip very heavy with the holiness and justice of God and sometimes very light with the love and grace of God.
Just think: God washes away our sin – all of our sins – like windshield wipers wipe away the rain drops on our windshield as we drive down the road. Speaking of drops: wait until you hear the song today by Hawk Nelson entitled Drops in the Ocean. I heard it while driving in the rain today with my wipers on and it hit me between the eyes and also in the heart. It changed my day. I needed to hear its biblical message. You’ll love it too. “God wants us as we are not as we ought to be”.

Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
