“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
We are very flexible in our efforts to share the good news of Jesus and provide several different options for anyone that is truly searching for God and answers from His word.
Our minister, Mike Meierhofer, is available to answer any questions that you may have. Bible studies can be arranged through email, over the phone, or, if you prefer, you can come in for a personal study.
We also have a weekly small-group Bible study with several people. You don’t have to talk to join the group… you can just sit and listen if you would prefer.
Whatever method that you prefer, we assure you of one thing… you will never be pressured and will always be free to make your own decisions. While it’s true that we should all be a be part of a Bible believing church family, becoming a follower of Christ is a very personal thing. People have to make their own decisions, and no one can be made to become a Christian. Like the apostle Paul said, “I persuade men.” (II Corinthians 5:11), but there’s a difference between persuading (making your best case) and pressuring.
Our church family also provides a mail correspondence course that you can study. With each lesson, there also is provided an evaluation form for you to fill out following your study and return in the self-addressed, postage-paid envelop that is provided in the packet. The form will then be graded by our staff and mailed back to you along with the next lesson. We offer multiple courses, and we believe that you would find each of them quite helpful.
Please let us know if there’s anything that we can do to help you come to know God better. You may contact the church office at 214-351-3731 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
